The assignment

Give a full project a coherent narrative while turning media interest and market opportunities into release-specific follow-through.

Our contribution

Release-campaign planning and coordination for It Takes a Village.

Positioning, EPK and delivery preparation, personalized media outreach, and sync submissions documented in the September 17, 2026 report.

What the evidence supports

Campaign assets and outreach documented. Replies and quoted opportunities are not completed coverage, airplay, or licensing deals.

How the work was approached

01

Start with the whole project

The source report documents a review of It Takes a Village and a positioning built around Compton perspective, melody, vulnerability, and R&B instinct. The focus record serves a larger artistic story.

02

Give each outlet a relevant angle

Media pitches connect the music to hometown relevance, performance, style, or long-form conversation. The operating record distinguishes personalized outreach from completed coverage.

03

Cluster the opportunities

Atlanta media responses are evaluated as a potential multi-stop content trip. NYC performance-platform planning and right-sized live-support outreach sit alongside the press campaign, with scheduling and deliverables assessed separately.

04

Prepare every delivery lane

The documented asset system includes an EPK, project strategy, DJ/radio preparation, and a separate sync submission campaign. Each route uses the asset format and submission instructions it needs.

HOW THE PROJECT IS ASSESSED

MEASUREMENT.
WITH CONTEXT.

  • Confirmed interviews and coverage
  • Completed performance opportunities
  • DJ/radio delivery versus verified adds
  • Audience response by record
  • Qualified sync responses
  • Content captured per market visit

These are measurement categories, not a claim that every metric was collected or improved. Only stated, source-supported outcomes are treated as results.
