The assignment

Build continuity beyond an annual event and define what participants gain before, during, and after the public moment.

Our contribution

Campaign architecture and creative planning.

A Philadelphia youth music-development model joins a studio cohort, music-business learning, an album, and a public release moment.

What the evidence supports

This case presents the proposed operating model. Cohort outcomes, event attendance, funding, and social impact are not reported as achieved. The plan measures participation and documented outcomes rather than making unsupported causal claims.

How the work was approached

01

A complete participant journey

Recruit, develop, write, record, release, perform, and connect to the next opportunity. The proposed curriculum combines creative practice, collaboration, deadlines, credits, and music-business literacy.

02

The album becomes the bill

Established artists are proposed as contributors to the cohort’s record. The public release celebrates work the participants have made rather than placing them outside the main story.

03

Community partners inside the program

The model connects partner-curated moments and useful resources to the event experience. The purpose is sustained engagement and practical connections, with clearly defined responsibilities.

04

An adaptable public moment

The proposed 2027 pilot combines a controlled release event with a 24-hour digital signal. The record, cohort, reporting, and alumni relationships remain valuable if the physical event must change.

HOW THE PROJECT IS ASSESSED

MEASUREMENT.
WITH CONTEXT.

  • Participant enrollment and retention
  • Studio and curriculum participation
  • Completed recordings
  • Documented credits
  • Partner services and referrals
  • Alumni follow-through

These are measurement categories, not a claim that every metric was collected or improved. Only stated, source-supported outcomes are treated as results.
